These race rules and guidelines purposed to help and direct event; ensure pasticipant safety; fulfill permit requirement of local government; which already adapted to Indonesia Athletic Federation (PASI) and International Athletic Association Federation (IAAF).
Participant suggested to read guidelines and rules of this race carefully before register to Borobudur Marathon race.
- GENERAL INTRODUCTION -
- Borobudur Community Foundation and ministry for Youth and Sports Affairs of Central Java Province and Bank Jateng; supported by Ministry of Culture and Tourism; Central Java Local Government; Indonesia Athletic Federation (PASI) and IAAF will organize Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2016 race.
- Bank Jateng Borobudur Marathon 2016 race include Marathon 42,195 KM race; Half Marathon 21,0975 KM; 10 KM; Ultrathon 120 KM; also Ambassador and Celebrity Run 3 KM.
- The race is open to all athletes (licensed or non-licensed) and non-athletes of Indonesian or foreign citizen of age 17 and over for marathon; age 16 and over for the half marathon; age 13 and over for 10K; age 17 and over for Ultra Marathon; and 17 and over for the ambassador and celebrity run. You are reminded that inspections will be carried out during the race to ensure that competition rules are respected. This is very important because the runners will compete in the race under their responsibility. The executive committee has the right to verify the age of the participant before, during and after the race. Exceptions to this must be approved by the executive committee.
- Participants are advised to seek medical advice from a doctor if they are in doubt of their health condition before taking part in the race.
- Participants for the Marathon ; Half Marathon ; 10K and Ultra Marathon is subject to the possession of a medical certificate stating the absence of contraindications in participating in the competition that comes less than a year . Health certificates may be obtained through general practitioners, hospitals and health centers, and must be submitted at the time of Racing Sign Pack Collection.
- Participants are not allowed to transfer their participation ; and fully subject to the rule. No transfer registration, for any reason.
- Registration fee cannot be returned. The organizing committee reserves the right to refuse participants if they gives false information.
- Prize winner will be awarded directly at the end of event or race.
- The race will be canceled if circumstances beyond the control of the executive committee ( including heavy rain , lightning storms or disasters , general meeting ) ; there will be no refund of the registration fee which has been paid . The organizing committee is not responsible for any other loss or inconvenience caused by the incident.
- PARTICIPATION -
- Participants must be able to complete the full distance , from start to finish , within the requirements of the time event ( 7 hours for the Full Marathon , Half Marathon for 4 hours , 2.5 hours for the 10K , ……… .. hours for Ultramarathon , and ……… … Ambassador and Celebrity Run )
- Online registration form confirms agreement to comply with the Regulation of the Competition Participant.
- Registration for the race was only confirmed after payment of the participants entered the account executive committee.
- Registration form complete and payment must be received no later than …
- The executive committee has the right to close registration before the deadline without any notice after participant quota is full.
- Participants agree to provide true , accurate, current and complete information about the participants which is contained in the registration form ; participants maintain security password and identification ; and constantly update the Registration Data to keep it true , accurate , current and complete . Participants can contact the organizing committee from time to time via email. Notifications are sent to the email address registered with the executive committee.
- Minimum age requirements apply to all forms of attendees and event participation.
- The number of participants in the race are certain personal identifiers and cannot be exchanged or transferred / sold to others.
- Sale and / or transfer of race number is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification and / or banning of any individual involved from future events.
- Borobudur in Central Java Bank Marathon in 2016 maintained a policy of no refunds.
- Intake Race pack held at Artos Mall Magelang on November 17 at 10:00 to 20:00 local time ; October 18 at 10:00 to 20:00 local time ; and November 19 at 10:00 to 21:00
- Race Pack could not be delivered and cannot be taken on the day of the race.
- Full Marathon and Ultra Marathon participants is obliged to carry a health certificate.
- Official Jury consists of PASI and IAAF. The jury’s decision is final. They will be assisted by an official jury and a committee appointed by PASI.
- Hydration point will be located at every 2.5 km to the category of 10K and continued with every 1.5 km to Half Marathon and 42k categories (km10 - km 42).
- Timing will be displayed in ……… checkpoints, as well as the Start and Finish Line. Runners will be allowed up to 7 hours for the Full Marathon , Half Marathon for 4 hours , 2.5 hours for the 10 km , and ……… . Hours for the Ultra Marathon.
- Road safety under the control of The Police , Transport Department of the Regional Government of Central Java . Medical services provided by the Health Department of the Regional Government of Central Java.
- The system time will be given for each category. Each runner will be given a chip / tag. The check points will be placed on the starting line, a certain point along the trajectory of the race, and at the finish line , to control the time of each runner . Runners who fail to follow the time limit will be disqualified. Please note the use of chips only for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K.
- Bicycles or motorized vehicles are strictly forbidden on the race track except for the officials or the executive committee of Borobudur in Central Java Bank Marathon in 2016.
